I can’t say I’ve had the best experience here. I understand the doctors have many patients but it just doesn’t feel like the staff here care. I’ve had prescriptions take weeks to refill no matter how many times I call or use the online service. They even ignore the pharmacies request till the point I run out. My medical records were also lost somehow when they switched systems.
I want to start by saying that I have been a patient at this office since 2017. There have been many times I have been sick and the office has been great to either get me a virtual appointment or see me the same day. The parking at this location is great, its above an urgent care but the parking lot is never more than 3/4 full. Checking in with a tablet was at first confusing, but once I learned the right way to get it to scan my insurance card, no issues at all. i had a very bad experience with Calvert Primary Care yesterday. i’m 72 and handicapped. The doctor was Dr Pampino-Higgs. i think Calvert Memorial should give its partners classes in elder abuse prevention and special needs advocacy. i had moved away to PA but had gone there for years with no problem. i have addresses in PA and MD . i talked to someone in the office who said i could keep my doctor as long as i saw her once in 3 years. Worst front staff in southern maryland primary care. All she does is blow you off put you on hold and tell you they to busy call back later. She just keeps giving you the run around with attitude when you try to get ahold of your primary care doctor. Doesn't do her job at all and does not care about patients needs. Your a receptionist do your job and act like one. If you got issues with patients trying to get ahold of ther doctor find another job that you dont suck at.
