Beautiful...once you get there. The beach is 1.8 miles away from where you park your car. Bring water and pretend like you had no idea its almost 2 miles away - the kids will be asking, are we there yet....where are we going..... You can definitely spend 4 hours at the beach with the kiddos.
The cliffs are blocked off. It's a 1.8 mile walk to the beach. We arrived when the park opened at 7:30 a.m.. The beach fills up pretty quick. It's not the type of beach where you lay out in the sun or swim. The beach is used for looking for fossils and sharks teeth. The park provides strainers and other helpful items. We didn't take any hikes other than the one to the beach.
