I had day surgery there today and everyone from reception, the nurses, anaesthetist, volunteer, to my doctor (who I already knew was fantastic), were kind, helpful, and hilarious. I also had my wisdom teeth removed there about 10yrs ago and that was also a really good experience. The location is convenient, with easily accessible parking.
I recently had a surgery here, and to say that the staff in this hospital are amazing is an understatement! They are so lovely, and always made sure I was comfortable, they helped so much when I couldn’t walk myself to the toilet and were very patient with me every time I had to call for help. My nurse who saw me over the Yuki (I think that was her name!) was absolutely brilliant, caring and overall a sweet person! Thank you so much for the positive experience for a first timer
Not for the elderly. My 88 year old mother with dementia and mobility issues needed to go in for a tooth removal. The main nurse would not assist with the bathroom, pretending she had a phone call and after I found her sitting in an office she said she would come back and never did or sent anyone to help. Just left her like that for over 40 mins before I got a hold of another nurse to assist. On discharge they sent my mum back in a taxi to st Anne’s nursing home. Not hospital transport. had a tonsillectomy here, was taken care of really well, no problems no bleeding, healing really well very very happy (recommend this hospital over royal) staff are really nice. also nice view
