Great place to get detox and get sober. Spent many years searching for help and drowning in my own addictions so it was life saving and refreshing to find people so kind and generous with their dedication to others. Counselors cared, doctors cared, nurses cared everyday i was there i felt nurtured but respected. You get what you put in and i was ready for this new beginning!
I’ve learned so much about what drug addiction is and how it affected my mind and body. I’m unbelievably grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given to find myself again with the help I’ve received! The staff I dealt with were supportive and understanding of my condition, and the daily addiction management program helped give me insight into what my underlying problems besides addiction really were. Lakeside Detox & Recovery helped save my life when i was a hopeless heroin addict. i didn't think that regaining control of my life was possible until i met the team at Lakeside Detox & Recovery. Very clean addiction treatment facility, with staff that cares! They took the time to explain how the substance abuse recovery process works and what to expect in the beginning. The doctors, along with other staff, shared their experiences and through that I gained some hope and because of that I give a million thanks and will forever be grateful!!
Good clean rooms and surprisingly delicious meals. Stayed for 3 months and got my life back together. Can't say enough good things about Lakeside. Kind doctors and the rules weren't over bearing.
