As a member of the Rotary Club of North Hobart, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Calvary Hospital's Community Care committee for the $5000 grant we received this year for our Steady on your Feet Falls Prevention program. It has been an honour working with CCC this year. Led by Mr Tony Brennan, Director of Mission, we have had a genuine partnership with Calvary, which has increased the value of the stand-alone project.

My first birth experience was traumatic, and my postnatal care after surgery lacked compassion. I was given conflicting advice and spoken to condescendingly, pressured and made to mobilise without help as the nurse just stood there and watched me struggle, which felt unsafe and I verbalised this but wasn't listened to, and consequently felt dizzy and unwell. Je suis allé au Calvary en Janvier 2002. Pour être honnête, c'est là que j'ai appris ma séropositivité. Et en 2026, je suis bien et en bonne santé. Avec mon compagnon, nous avons laissé au 1er étage un cadre avec tous les noms de tout le personnel aqui a été très dévoué. J'espère qu'il y est toujours. Merci à toutes et tous. ....Je pense à ma première infirmière : Lorraine. Et nous venions de Lorraine en France.🌷💐🌹❤️🤞🤩🥰
