I presented at Calvary Hospital's E.D. 5/2/'25 (PM) with breathing difficulties & stayed o'night, all staff were professional & kind until I met with Dr. Kirsty O'Neill the following morning, this Dr. took umbrage at my disagreement that my symptoms were due to an existing condition & berated me, telling me that she was a professional etc. etc., already feeling unwell, in pain, fearful & vulnerable I was shocked & felt belittled as I've never been spoken to in this manner before esp. by a doctor! Went to Calvary ED last night after hurting my ankle in a fall. Could not fault this department! They brought out a wheelchair to my car, was put onto a bed immediately, saw the nurse, then the doctor, pain killers provided, had an xray, given a moon boot to wear & wheeled out, all within a couple of hours. Admittedly, they said they were having a quiet night, but the professionalism & care was just top notch! Thankyou so much Calvary ED for your amazing service!

The staff at Calvary are all amazing, so caring and compassionate, everyone from the admin to nursing staff cannot be faulted. This hospital deserves top rating for the staff. The rooms however are another story. Both my husband and myself have had to have over night stays this year. We both requested a private room, and both times were put into shared rooms. The room I had was not large enough for 2 beds and compromised my safety after shoulder surgery I had to squish past the other patient's bed. I filled in the feedback f... read more
