Not Great Service – unfortunately this is really the only big photo specialty store in boston and their service is terrible and the prices are high. never can you get through to someone on the phone and when you're there even if there's a ton of people working it seems no one wants to stop and help you. I would try and find your photo needs elsewhere.

Photographic Superstore – Calumet is the best photography store in the Northeast. Their customer service is second to no one. If they can't get it, you don't need it. They are always the first with the new cameras and fair prices. Don't by online, these guys are the real pros. Free coffee and parking in Cambridge! They have a huge rental department and always have a solution. Don't bother going to the other stores. It's a hidden gem.

disappointing service – Unfortunately Calumet has a rather uneducated staff considering they are a specialty store. The result is subpar service. Twice I have been sold the wrong product even though the salesperson knew what camera I have. Their return policy and hours make it hard too. I was also inadvertently told by a salesperson that they sell defective product without a discount and without acknowledging the problem. Overall not recommended.
