Terrible, they allowed me to harm myself on the place of safety, they refused to charge my phone, refused me food/drink, refused to give me my normal medication and refused to allow me to use my vape that no other psych place in the country has a problem with. As a female patient I felt unsafe around 4 male staff at all times not once was a female member of staff around
They're in the news for neglecting a suicidal man, leading to him taking his own life, and then falsifying their records to pretend staff had been watching him when they hadn't. I think that says it all. But unless it doesn't, my personal experience was watching another patient be neglected until they eventually died, seeing staff hit, kick and drag patients, watching another patient get pinned and then rapid tranquilised just for crying, oh, and receiving a bunch of false diagnoses, none of which I actually have. The most irresponsible place I've ever seen. They either say our services don't include you. Or they threaten that we won't serve you because you're crying. They say you have to have a lawyer to get your records!! Once, they lied and laughed and told me that they would prescribe a blood test to diagnose bipolar disorder!!... You are a fool. When you ask if you have a brain scan for bipolar disorder, they no longer answer. Sherbourne staff were really helpful and am grateful for them helping me recover from my psychotic episode. Am currently having therapy for PTSD and Dysthymia , and the care has been amazing. Dr Bath is very understanding and informative.
