Such a cool place! Wish they would offer tours of the property but fun and interesting in either case. 4 mile poorly maintained paved road to the facility. No other amenities.
Stay hungry, stay radio quiet
Able to drive in and take a look around. Self tour of facility. Must call when arriving at the gate.
A very magical place to visit and walk around in the fall there is tiny but beautiful flowers and also interesting insects to see. In the winter the radio telescopes look awesome next to the snow covered Sierra mountain range the stars are brilliant at night around this whole valley because big pine is a small town with very little light pollution
