Having lived in Caloundra for 40 years we have had to use this service occasionally. Visiting today and all the staff were amazing. Attentive, happy and friendly. Once it felt like such a bother to try and get medical care from the emergency clinic, with long waits, rudeness etc. That is not the case now..everyone I interacted (4 people on staff) were welcoming, connected and happy to help, over and above. Such a great experience last night when I had injured myself. first Triage nurse was so kind, not just with me but every person I saw her interact with. Was so nice to see her just being genuinely kind and patient with everyone. I was x-rayed and seen to so quickly and the nurse practitioner was such a happy lady. All round a great experience, and a Breth of fresh air to have such a nice and chill atmosphere in the public health system.
Attended Caloundra MIIC while on holidays with my husband who had an injury to his leg. From the moment we arrived the staff were very caring, checking on my husband and keeping us informed during the waiting time which was a couple of hours. A highly recommended alternative to attending the hospital emergency department or private doctor practice where prices we were quoted were exorbitant.
I have lived in Caloundra for 32years and we are SO SO lucky to have such a brilliant facility! I have been here 3 times in the last 10yrs and every time it has been a positive experience I was treated by Courtney who was wonderfully kind, thorough and explained everything i needed to know Beautiful kind reception staff and the medical treatment is excellent Thank you so very much. I am so proud of this facility in our town 👩🏻⚕️
Here on holidays and my son had hurt (broken) his finger. Efficient service with a smile - everyone was friendly and caring.
