Terrible place, don't send your kids here if you want them to actually be safe. Staff are undertrained and overworked, kids get hurt and sneak things in all the time. The staff do their best, and some genuinely care, but others clearly don't. The staff that care or are any good at their jobs are overworked and left alone with more kids than they can reasonably watch, and management is only concerned with their bottom line. Extreme(and i mean worst of the worst) medical neglect and malpractice. Malnourishment, Gaslighting, Manipulation. This place isolates the kids from their parents. One 15 minute phone call a week with one parent/guardian or approved contact a week. The normal floor staff would be the ones who listened to our calls. Staff would gossip about students with both staff and other kids. Letters that are monitored and read by therapists between approved contacts.
