I purchased 4 white wall tires. The tires looked and rode great. After 5-6 months I went to my garage only to find the white wall tires had bubbled. I notified Cali Tires by email of my problem. Without question Cali mailed me 4 new tires and maid no mention of returning the old tires. They paid for shipping and did not even ask me to pay for it. I purchased four white wall tires for a customer's car that I was restoring. Shortly after mounting the tires, the whitewalls became discolored. I spoke with ***** at Calli Tire and he suggested I return the tires. As I did not feel I should be responsible for the shipping fees, he agreed to send shipping labels so I could return the tires. I expressed the dissatisfaction of my customer and the possibility of losing money for the restoration of this vehicle. I packaged up the tires and shipped them back to Calli Tire. Customer originally order tires on 09/03/2019. Our warranty is 1-year, but we paid for the return shipping on January 2023 for the tire to get re-done (we warranty the same tires). The old material was removed and new material was put on and we shipped the customer back the tires are our expense again. With the age of the tires, it is possible the curing process did not work correctly. Customer didn't want to pay for a new set, even with a discount. I bought 4 whitewall tires and they turned light brown in just a couple of months. Sure wish I had done more research about them before buying. When I contacted them they said they would fix them. They insisted on the tires be boxed to ship them to them. A big pain to box tires! When I contacted UPS about the cost difference they said there was no cost difference to send a box or an irregular shaped, (tires wrapped together) much easier way to ship. Customer purchased tires in March 2019. It is now May 2023 and we were still willing to warranty our work. We provided prepaid shipping labels to the customer, all he had to do is box the tires. But the customer didn't want to follow our directions and thinks he know better that us on costs and how UPS billing works. We are paying for the shipping to get them back and to ship them back to him. All we asked was to box the tires, 2 tire per box. I bought 4 2 white wall I was pleased but my car is garage kept and after having them mounted it took about a week for the white to turn ***** if you know theyre going to turn at least know how to clean Ive got buckets of cleaner and nothing works I wish I had known before I gave away ****** dollars just let me know if they can be cleaned.
Had an issue with the white walls. Quarter sized bulges in the whitewall. Emailed ***** and sent pictures. Response was that they would send 4 new tires. Excellent customer service. Only downside to the tires are they turn ***** quickly for no apparent reason, but they do clean off. But I think for the price of these tires and the customer service, the ******** is a minor irritant. Overall a good experience. At this time I haven't received the new tires, only told via email they were ordering me new ones.
