Went to Mexico with Calleva this fall for a week of class 3+ rivers. The trip was absolutely incredible, was able to experience a totally different type of whitewater and step up my skills while working with fantastic guides who kept us very safe. A great way to see "real" mexico from the river!
Everything you could ever want or need to learn whitewater kayaking, taught by great people, and easily accessible anywhere in the DC area. Absolutely amazing!

I've taken several classes with Calleva and they do a phenomenal job of providing a safe, supportive learning experience. They are my "go to" for all kayaking instruction.
I was very impressed with the Calleva River school. Well organized and great instructors. If you take part in one of their courses, you can go to open training every Tuesday as well, to reinforce your skills. And a really nice bunch of people. I would definitely recommend them, and work with them again.
