Wish I wasn’t trans so I didn’t have to deal with this place. I don’t think any of the departments communicate with each other. I scheduled three appointments in advance to learn how to do at home injections. When I arrived for my third injection I was told it was too soon after the second one, so it could not be administered. I understand injections are done weekly, but I assumed since I scheduled my appointments with the receptionist, the dates we selected were acceptable. If you are needing to get your bloodwork done, MAKE SURE YOU GET MARCELLA!!! I am notoriously a hard stick. My veins are tiny, they move, and I am always stuck multiple times. Marcella got me with one stick and on top of that she was the sweetest person. Just call her “The One Stick Queen”! I will always ask for her in the future.
I made an appointment here for an STI test which I assumed would be very basic simple (and would have been if this clinic hired staff who didn’t act like it was their first day ever being a human being), but the level of incompetence among the staff genuinely made me feel like I was going insane. Had an appointment while I was between insurers and nobody thought to mention that without insurance my blood work would be over $1000. I’m sorry but you are all deeply incompetent if you don’t understand that that is something you need to speak with your patients about. If I don’t have insurance I certainly can’t afford tests that cost over $1000.
