Vet was very compassionate.Making it easier on the family with the loss of their fur family.
My wife and I recently went to this clinic to use their emergency services for our 3 year old chocolate lab. We were both very stressed/concerned for our girl, but the staff quickly put that to ease. I am beyond impressed with the level of compassion displayed; the staff were amazing. A very big shout out to Dr. Julia, Anne, and Dr. Neil! Thank you all. - Collin, Brooke, and Winnie.
So thankful this Thanksgiving for the staff at Callander Animal Hospital. While at the cottage this weekend one of our dogs suffered a laceration that required stitches. Nothing was open holiday Monday but Callander Animal Hospital was able to squeeze us in last minute today. They were amazing ! From Rhonda and the front desk staff that booked us in and shared all our info with our hometown vet to the vet tech and Dr Alicia Dagg that made our normally anxious dog feel right at ease. My dog was shaking and scared while waiting and the person at reception came with a squeaky toy to distract him. His OCD won over his fear. Was such a nice gesture to make my dog comfortable. At his end of life, staff were kind and realistic but a few things didn’t make sense including recommending expensive medication to prevent Lyme disease (which he already had) and may have caused his first (and last) seizure.
