Amazing staff and Dr. Ceniceros is one of the best veterinarian I have gone to. On vacation in Las Cruces and my pug started coughing uncontrollably. They were able to get us in worked with us to get her stable enough to travel back home. I consulted with our veterinarian internist in Minneapolis and they agreed with the diagnosis and treatment that Dr. Ceniceros had prescribed. Thanks to all the staff that took such great care of our little Lucie!
RecommendedThe staff at Calista are great. In this day and age of Covid-19 I was especially pleased with the way they are currently conducting business. I moved to Las Cruces two years ago and Calista Animal Hospital was recommended to me as the best veterinary clinic in town. I can see why. Thank you for taking such good care of my cats.

Yesterday, I took my kitty to Calista on an emergency basis. This place was absolutely great! Took great care of my kitty overnight and the next morning. Even though they were extremely busy, they were courteous, very kind, and very professional. I have never even been there before, but they told me to bring my kitty right away and I was so impressed with how they do business there. My kitty is going to be okay, and I am so grateful to the doctors and the staff! Highly recommended!
I had to come bring my cat for an emergency walk-in as our normal vet was completely booked. I LOVE it here so much, the techs and Dr. Higgins are fantastic!!!!
Human or animal, if you can’t get pertinent information correct on records, I can’t trust your ability to care. Got my address wrong. Corrected it. Still got it wrong. Spelled dogs name wrong. This is despite my spelling both my address and dog’s name correctly on all forms, and the dog’s name LARGELY written on her harness, collar and tags in multiple places.
