Who the heck are you talking about, Tom ??? (and, by the way, WHO are you?) I have been using California's Own Native Landscape Design (Greg, Leo, Oscar, et.al.) since 2005 and they have never disappointed me or my husband. In fact, not only do my neighbors, friends and relatives rave about my wonderful yard, but it has been featured in Sunset Magazine (see issue Nov 2007), won the San Diego County California-Friendly Landscape Contest and it has been featured in numerous articles in newspapers across the state. Great promises, utterly miserable execution. Discussing goals with contractor is for nothing when the crew never hears, understands, or cares about them. Warranty on work not honored, and if they break something that was not in the area they were working it's "too bad" for the client. Oh, they did bring a few plants by to replace ones that died, putting in things without talking to us that didn't even go with the surrounding flora. They have no idea how to do drainage, which should be important on low-water landscaping when ... read more
