Great ER staff & specalist but costly To start off with this place saved my dog's life when 2 other specialist hospital in san diego missed it. 1. Majority of the Er doctors I have years of experience & knowledge. They have helped me understand previous conditions that the other vet specalist hospitals never told me. Mr Please think twice before to take your pet to these... really don't know how to call them.I didn't do my research the way i was use to it when it was about my little Artemis, i was blinded by many factors and i did rush the whole process. I toke my pet to a second opinion to this place, for a none invasive procedure, they took her away for 15 minutes and long story short, my Artemis after two hours was dead. Think twice before going to CVS I would think very carefully and do my research before taking my beloved animal to CVS. There are other specialty hospitals and emergency clinics in the San Diego and North County area that I feel are superior to CVS. I made the mistake of trusting CVS with the care of my dog and will regret this decision for the rest of my life. RIP OFFS This vet is a RIP OFF! They over charge and gouge you, if you don't have the money they try to get you to finance it! How ridiculous? You won't get out of this place for under $1500 and your pet won't live afterwards anyway!
California Veterinary Speclsts is a great place for cats and dogs California Veterinary Specists is an outstanding facility. They are available at all hours. They take excellent care of your pet. I took my little dog there twice and she received excellent care. The staff is very friendly and compassionate. They provide a wide range of services for cats and dogs.
World class doctors Dr Ogilvie cured my dog of cancer w/ his DHA treatment. Our 2 yr old dog came down w/ lymphoma and had a grapefruit sized tumor in his abdomen. When our dog was diagnosed, his prognosis was not very good but after a few months on Dr Ogilivie's treatment he was cured. It was amazing! I highly recommend this facility if your pet is diagnosed w/ cancer.
Wonderful, Outstanding Service We've taken our dogs here a few times for emergencies. They've treated the dogs probably better than our regular vet. The first time, we had to leave our dog there to assess and treat his problem. When we picked him up, they had a 3 page, detailed running history with times for us on his symptoms, conditions, etc. They faxed the info to our regular vet for follow-up. My Mom also had to take her dog there. He needed to be put down, (unfortunately), but the staff was right there with her and the ... read more
CVS My cat has been a patient here over the past few years. They are extremely competent veterinary practice for animals who need this type of vet (internal medicine specialists). The treatment program they recommended worked well and my cat is happy and about to turn 18.
