It's becoming increasingly rare to come across a business like this. I visited for the first time today, and I wish I would have tried this shop years ago. Shawn was helpful before I even walked into the store, meeting me out back to help me with my empty cylinder. I went in to swap my 60 cf cylinder, but the prices were so impressive I traded up to a 122 cf cylinder. Tony was there helping me out, I am a welding student so I didn’t really know what I was looking at and he was very helpful. I let him know my budget and he worked with what he had in stock. He gave good recommendations on gloves which helped a lot. These are the guys that I will go to from now on for anything.
Came in to Cal tool and supply to possibly purchase a welder and spoke with Shawn Clift, he was very helpful and I explained what i was going to be doing with it and he found me a great welder and all the necessary things to go with it.. I never felt pressured to buy which was the reason i returned and bought the right welder that was the right fit for what i needed. I would recommend this shop for all your welding needs as the have a nice stocked store to brouse though.
I am a student who is taking welding classes at the local college and needed ppe for the class, I came into cal tools and was amazed at the quality and help that I got, Shawn was amazing and helped me find everything I needed, 10 out of 10 will definitely return for my welding needs!
Prices are great. But the customer service is why I come here. Shawn is always on point with a friendly attitude and very knowledgeable.
