Not sure if Reviing the engine at such high RPM was necessary for smog check. My car was not subject to that RPM at the previous smog check.
The review before me from Michael is inaccurate. No shop is required to check a car's computer or do a visual. That's called a pretest. And guess what shops charge you for that. No one works for free. I highly doubt he's telling the truth. Call the bar office in riverside they will tell you that smog stations are under no obligation to do a free pretest for consumers. I've came to Franciscos shop plenty of times and he is a wonderful human being who only tries to help customers. He knows how to relay information to us people... read more
I come into this shop to get my vehicle Smogged my vehicle has high mileage.The smog guy then asked me if my catalytic converters are original considering my mileage i told "him I have no idea". He didnt even bother looking considering his considern about my cats. He then hooks my car up to the machine so I have to pay and then decides to look at my catalytic converter afterwards he ran it and then tell me I have the wrong catalytic converters and it failed.
