Came to get a partial fill on my acrylic set. Instead of filing the old nail down and filling it - or soaking it off- she shoved a plastic fake nail tip in between the nail and fake nail- for 4 of my fingers. Made several fingers bleed during the process and ripped up my nails. ZERO attention to the cuticles, then the acrylic she did was so thin my nails bent and fell off in three days. Had an amazing experience here!! I got a fill and a pedi, and am so happy with how everything turned out. The staffs attention to detail is so clear and the quality of their work is so great!! Edit: since this review, California nails has been my go to spot, but I have been disappointed recently. I went in to repair and fill an acrylic set that had two broken nails and the gel had peeled a week within a week of getting them done, and the acrylic was lifting from my natural nail. Customers beware - the owner of this nail salon uses stolen nail supplies to perform services. Please do not give your business to someone who steals from small family owned businesses. Helen took over $600 worth of supplies from a local nail supply store in MN and refused to pay. Be a decent person and go elsewhere for your nail services.
