I was gladly surprised to see a univeristy actually reflect the research findings in education. Using a cohort model instead of the stark competitive model to education demonstrates Cal Lutheran's integrity in offering programs that actually provide an environment conducive to teaching and learning. Once students get a taste of the cohort model, they won't see traditional educational models as a viable alternative.
