I came here thinking I’d be part of a grassroots volunteer group helping the community. The people seemed passionate, and the mission sounded powerful. But once I started spending more time here, things didn’t add up. There’s no real transparency about who’s running things or where the money goes. Would not help me figure out what to do about the discrimination I am facing at work because my work pays them through donations. They didn't even listen to my situation and misheard what I did tell them when I was in crisis. They said they had conflicting interests. CHA were no help at all.
