Had an awesome time!! Really informative and a heck of a lot of fun. Would highly recommend to anyone. Found a little bit of gold too which definitely added to the experience!!
Extremely satisfied with our trip out to Jamestown for a prospecting! Nate was our guide and very helpful with giving tips and tricks that led us to strike gold. It was fun learning about the history of the area and his prospecting family. We came in with a get'er done attitude, got through 4 buckets, and walked out with a few flakes and a genuine nugget!!
We took 3 men and 3 boys for a trip to see what real mining was like, and we did. We got very wet, we moved a lot of rock and dug out paydirt while waist deep in the creek. We purchased the 3 hour sluice and panning experience and spent almost the full 3 hours sluicing, and spent the last bit panning the final results down to flake gold. We found enough to make the kids happy, and everyone agreed it was a very fun time.
