I retained this attorney in 2016 to assist with my mother's estate. He didn't do anything and refused to sign off the case when I hired another attorney. He REFUSED to fill out a substitution of attorney so the new attorney could take over the case. He refused to return phone calls and emails from both myself and the State estate attorney assigned to the case Gillaspey Steele. Deward is very nice and professional, but welcoming too. He helped plan my Dad's Trust and he can help you too with options for the best choice for your or a loved ones' estate.
Deward, the lawyer here at CA estate, is fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable about wills, trusts, poa, durable power of attorney forms etc. He takes attorney/client privilege seriously, as all lawyers should but don't. I am dealing with a difficult, sticky situation. He is a good listener & has lots of "suggestions" if you pick his brain. 1 of the smartest guys I have had the pleasure to work with!
