My review is closer to 4.5 stars. I contracted with one of the best companies in this business, to waterproof 3 balconies, deck and stairs. The guys (Juan/Juan/Marcos/Victor) showed up early every day and worked the whole day. They were meticulous, and methodical in their efforts. The office manager (Shirley) was great in facilitating all the communication, scheduling, and accounting matters. My balconies floor looks really good, and I am happy overall with the work. Feel free to contact me so I can share with you my experience, although there are no leaks in my house I end up with a huge puddle on my sunroof. Waterproofing blames the contractor the contractor blames the waterproofing company nevertheless, I spent the morning sucking the water with a shop vac. I want you to know my experience before you hire these guys.
We could not have been more satisfied with the work that California Decking & Waterproofing did for us. We have a large deck on the second floor of our Los Angeles house and three smaller decks. Unfortunately, the large deck developed several leaks and the surfaces of the smaller decks were cracking and we were worried about leaks there as well. Excellent service, price and work. Highly recommend!
I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship that went into waterproofing my front patio deck. Juan and Alex did a great job over the 4 day job. They removed the flashing and made sure the edges were leveled off. They made sure I was happy with the work and showed me everything during the process. This included anything from the removal of the flashing to the addition of the new layers of decking (and double coats of commercial finishes).
