A few issues came up that were addressed after our stay through the guest services manager. I appreciate the fact that they didn’t try to make any excuses and owned up to it. It’s hard to find people/companies that don’t make excuses when something isn’t right. For that, I will reserve with Hosteeva again.
This was the first time using Hosteeva and staying at the California building. The unit was very clean, and updated with a modern look. Plenty of extra towels and washcloths, and even a set of plates and silverware for 2. The building is conveniently around the corner from Canal street and a 10 min walk to the French Quarter and so much more. The location was the best part of staying here. This was the fourth time I’ve stayed with Hosteeva, the first at the California Building. Great building! The unit was very clean and wonderful amenities. The unit plus the building was very clean. I felt safe in the building , plus the building is close to French Quarter about two blocks away. Customer service with Hosteeva is great also. I’m returning back to NOLA next month. I will book with Hosteeva again.
Just keep in mind that your booking is not guaranteed with Hosteeva. Have another backup. I booked their luxury penthouse a month in advance, only for them to inform me a day before my arrival that the penthouse won't be available 2 out of the three days I booked. They offered me a basic room at their current rent, and now I ended up paying more on a basic room than what I originally paid for the luxury penthouse.
