I had a deeply disappointing experience with Dr. Paul Mangal and would not recommend him for a neuropsychological evaluation, particularly for academic or testing accommodations. I came away feeling that the report created more problems than it solved and contained potentially damaging conclusions that I now have to contextualize against years of established documentation and previously granted accommodations. While under the care of a neurologist for memory impairment, I was referred to Katie Beckwith, PhD (thru the California Brain Health Center), for a neuropsychological evaluation. I was favorably impressed by her during its several hour process. She welcomed my health care professional relative to join us for the review of her 11 page summary report. Dr. Moore has now worked with multiple members of our family and we could not be happier with our experience. My father's neurologist recommended we consult with her to help diagnose and treat his memory loss. She was calm and patient with him, and she put him (and us) immediately at ease.
