I have never taken any of my guitars anywhere and left them because of all the horror stories I've heard. The young man I spoke with made me feel 100 percent comfortable with it, so I dropped off my Martin acoustic for set up. The guitar was horrible, basically unplayable, about a week an a half later I got a call, it's done. I will freely admit I'm a Taylor guy all the way, so my expectations were it would be average at best. A fabulous guitar store, and even more fabulous people. Yesterday, Mr. Baugh took the time to talk to me, look at my guitar, and invite me back when his luthier was at the store. Today, his grandson (the luthier) took fabulous care of my Martin and repaired the bolt to the electric pickup! He did the work right there and my wife took it home same day….just a few minutes later!! I’ll be back to Calido for strings, repairs, and all things guitar!!! They would receive 6 stars if possible!!
Very friendly and helpful. Very good job on guitar repairs.
