I love this page. Visiting Calico Hutch is always a treat but when I can't get there I can find inspiration here.
I always find shops while traveling. We had to go about 10 miles out of our way to find this one, but definitely worth the trip! Large variety of fabrics and kits. The store was larger than expected too! Wool, batiks, novelty, largest selection of Civil War Reproduction I've seen in a while! Lots of kits too!
I was taking a class at Calico Hutch Hayward. Great space to work in, lots of materials for options with my pattern, and very helpful staff. The instructor, Mike, was wonderful!
We stopped with a bus load. They opened just for us. Loads of quilt and wool samples. Super friendly staff, coffee and almond cake. Beautiful fabric that’s unique and beautiful. Cool quilt tools.
This is a great shop. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
