We did family pictures in ole time costumes. They are wonderful. Only part of my family was there so we are trying for August to get everyone there. We paned for gold, did the mine tour and ate a lot. It’s just a pleasant day!

Though it may have seemed like a tourist trap, there were memories made this weekend that I’ll never forget! Lot of historical information about the town, and the workers there are VERY nice! Camp sites and the Bunkhouse were both a great time. Can’t wait to go back!!

I think this is a really fun little side trip. We had our 5, 3.5 and 9 month old daughters with us and they had a great time. The restaurant serves good food and there are plenty of little sights and shops to make for a good 2-3 hour break driving between Las Vegas and Southern California.
I recommend a stop in this city, especially in peggy sue's 50's dinner, excellent food with excellent service
