Had not been to Calico Ghost Town since I was 13. Took my son there yesterday while he was visiting from back east. Has not changed in 40 years....but was quaint and a piece of California's mining history not to be missed. Definitely worth the admission fee of $8.00 for adults. Was pretty hot (over 100 degrees) but we managed to beat the heat by having a late lunch at the Calico House Restaurant. Food was reasonably priced, good sized portions, and tasty.
