We visited on a road trip between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. As English tourist we found it interesting but there are too many shops and this spoils it a bit. We didn't mind paying $8 each entrance then $6 each for the train and a further $6 each (I think it was $6) for the mine as we could see they are trying to restore it. But there are too many shops selling non related items and this spoilt it. In our opinion if they concentrated more on the historical factor it would be a great place.
Was a wonderful experience. My parents and I enjoyed it a lot!!!
RecommendedI love this place, my grandkids love this place. So much to do there. Stayed at the campground, kids loved running around up and down the hills. Granddaughter asked to come back cuz she loved it so much
