My friends and I try to make as many trips as possible every year, great outdoors to do the things we all enjoy.
We arrived early in the morning which was the best time because it was cooler and no crowds. We loved all the various houses and the staff inside each one were so friendly and nice to chat with. I really recommend taking the time to stop in on Calico Ghost town.

I have been there 3 times in my life (58 yrs) looong stretches in between, it use to many moons ago be owned by Knots Berry Farm, I knew that from my mom telling us when we went in like 1968 or so. It was fun, if I go back it will be in the winter months.
