Ordered drapes, after a week I get a call, the fabric is discontinued. Go back to the store to pick different fabric in the same tone. Picked fabric, turns out: it was still the same discontinued fabric that they didn’t remove. Finally got a fabric that was available. Week later : fabric will only arrive in 8 weeks but you can pay extra for shipping to get it sooner. Like $800 extra. No thank you!! Canceled everything and went to The Shade Store in Derby Street. A very well stocked store with a wide array of high quality material to choose from. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable and orders are filled quickly.
I had two window seat cushions made. They were $800 a piece and when I picked them up the material had seams showing on both ends. It is very noticable and makes them look cheap. I was told the material did not fit all the way around. I just think for that price that is something they should have told me , as I would have picked a different pattern. In addition, the cushion they put in one of the cushions (I let them keep my previos cushion for one of the seats) is much flatter and not as nice as the one I provided them with... read more
