We brought our pug, Bubba to the clinic as he was diagnosed with a melting corneal ulcer and referred to Dr. Kelli and her team. They were absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable, professional and kind. I cannot recommend Calgary Animal Eye Care enough. Our fur babies deserve the best care possible, and this is what you will get when you take your pet to them. If you have any questions regarding the medications or at home care, they are also willing to answer them, via email or phone call. Thank you for everything!!!
Such a wonderful experience at Calgary Animal Eye Care! Our senior dog had a pretty bad corneal ulcer in her eye so we called around and everyone recommended this place. They got us an appointment right away and quickly operated on our doggo. They were super gentile with her (which is difficult as she is squirmy and likes to get her way)! Shout out to Ivan for taking great care of our dog and cleaning her eye area! Also a big thanks to Dr. Kelli, our dog's eye is healing great!
We had cataracts surgery for my dog travelling from Edmonton in June 2024. Fast forward to March 2026 looking for more drops for my dog the clinic was not able to help me with this request as they wanted us to travel 3 hours each way to see my diabetes dog for 15 minutes and then probably be charged with vet $200 is just an inconvenience. I asked to make a video call but wasn't able to. We had spent over $8k on surgery and it doesn't seem like they don't care about post care. Very disappointing.
We visited Calgary Animal Eye Care recently, making the trip down from Edmonton. It was absolutely worth the drive. Nothing against our vets here at home, but we kept getting mixed messaging about what was going on with our “puppy’s” eyes (not so much a puppy at 17). Glaucoma. Cataracts. Maybe this. Maybe that. Uncertainty about procedures, whether anything corrective was even possible, or if we were just looking at management.
