The patient experience at this medical practice has been unsatisfactory. Specifically, the front desk staff's demeanor has been perceived as rude and lacking in empathy. Furthermore, the extended appointment scheduling, with a minimum of two months' lead time, presents a significant challenge for patients requiring timely medical attention. The current Medical system's limitations are also a source of frustration.
Very difficult to get a hold of staff, phoning in is like jumping through hoops, and most lines dont reach anyone. Appointment bookings, even with a family doctor is months ahead... canadian health care is failing.
Call Dr. Layton assistant to ask for availability to take care for my wife pregnancy, I was told to call Telus Health to get exams and forward these to Dr. Clayton. After I did what I was told, I called the assistant again to schedule an appointment but the assistant told me Dr Clayton has no availability and she could not take us
Honestly, the women working the front desk are incredible. The Dr. D I’ve been seeing for years has yet to be helpful. I have had 2 seizures since requesting medical help from him, and I’m ignored having my medication upped or refilled. The medical help and wait times here are absurd if you get a bad doctor.
