Went today for the first time and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Bought an apple tree and a peach tree, both look beautiful and healthier than the ones I’ve seen at chain nurseries. Super happy I went!
Great Nursery with a wide selection of Bamboo, TX Natives, Roses, herbs. day lilies, fruit trees. Many hard to find varieties. two of the most knowledgeable owners in the business.
Mr. I was there buying roses. I like the owner Cay Dee as a person, but don't like her attitude. She is impatient.
Caldwell Nursery has a vast amount of rare plants. This is the most extensive amount of plant material I have ever seen in one place. I drive 800 miles once a year to buy a pick-up load to take home. The staff is so helpful, even the owners Chuck and Cay Dee Caldwell took extra time to help me load up and even stayed open late for me. What a wonderful experience. I am going again next fall, I can't wait.
TERRIBLE SERVICE AT CALDWELL'S I have driven down from north Katy several times, not a short distance, but this was the last. Almost every time at Caldwell's I have felt VERY unwelcome, Cay Dee seems quite put out to answer questions. If she does stop to show you something, she walks 10 feet ahead, heaven forbid you take up her time. Beautiful plants, wide variety It took forever it seemed to see all of their plant selections-many of which were new to me. I am a novice gardener use to the slim pickings of places like Home Depot. This was an exciting find-the lily selections alone were amazing. They carry from garden flowers to trees and everything between. You will not leave here without finding something great! I bought a huge Texas sage and lilies. Beautiful.
