I do not recommend using this contractor. They will make serious mistakes (to be clear, our expectations are not that mistakes won't ever be made, but simply that someone owns up to them) and try to hide them from you. Terrible communication, combined with extremely low quality work on basic things. Completely unethical owner that constantly tries to make it seem like you are the problem. Very dependable contractor who delivered exactly what was promised. The team was organized, respectful, and completed the work with great attention to detail. The project stayed on schedule, and the results were impressive. I’d definitely work with them again.
Used Caldwell Construction to enclose an open loft and convert it into a bedroom in our condo and they were amazing. Due to the condo's open space design, nearly every room was exposed to the job site at some point. But they respected our home, cleaned up thoroughly every single day before leaving, and made living through it way more manageable than expected. By the time William Caldwell, owner, came to give us an estimate on various aspects of updating our kitchen I was on my last nerve because so many contractors and handymen had come through, took notes about the job, and then - crickets! He was the very first one to give us an actual price on installing our new microwave/oven combo, which wasn’t going to be easy. Caldwell repaired the siding on my garage. Couldn't be happier. On-time, on-budget, cleaned up the mess, super easy to work with. Can't ask for more than that, and very rare these days!!!
