Truly Appalling Experience. This Clinic Is Letting Patients Down. I turned up at the Halifax Sexual Health Clinic at 9:30am needing an emergency screening, having developed worrying symptoms. I explained the situation clearly at reception, only to be dismissed and told to come back the next day. This was absolutely unacceptable. The clinic was open until 12pm, and there were barely ten people in the waiting area. Tell me why I tried to contact them nearly 100 times just for it to tell me it wasn't open (I rang between 9am and 10am) or have it get picked up once and then immediately put back down. Do they not actually want to work???
Gillian was so lovely. I missed my appointment so she rang & got me straight back in for the next morning. Super helpful and told me everything I needed to know!
Horrible never open and rude staff very judgemental
Went for a walk in appointment for the contraceptive combined pill ( I am 17 years old ) and felt extremely shamed by the older lady that took me as she was very judgemental towards me and i was not told what she was doing at any point. Was taken into several rooms to take blood pressure where she grabbed my arm with no comment and left me by myself to find my way back to the original room? Felt so anxious and scared to come back that I switched clinics.
