We received their first bid which we felt was fair. Had a great first meeting..... loved their ideas and energy in getting the details for the revised bid. But after about a week, they really started to slow down and the process dragged on for a month. They said they were busy with their existing projects but would get back to us shortly. Calavo Landscape was refereed to us by our designer for a complete backyard remodel. Tom & his daughter came the end of September and I was given a 2 week time frame for an estimate and we discussed starting the project mid Novemberish. I never heard from them. I followed up with them on 11/21 & was told by Tom, the owner that they decided to do another job, didn’t bother calling me or doing an estimate. When I asked him if he was planning on doing an estimate, he told me he would be too busy to take on any additional work. ... read more
