The two stars is for nice nurses, but... damn, I was there yesterday and they completely dismissed my severe symptoms as something mundane I'd easily recognize. I then go to machias hospital the next day since illness continues, only to find out several people are here from calais today alone due to shitty service at the ER. and I thought it was a lack of lab testing capabilities. naw, was informed they have the same lab as Machias and even MORE staff. wow! so they're actually just dismissive and possibly injuring or even ki... read more

Several hours have passed with no food, no water, no comforting treatment. My Father Urinated himself twice, once on the floor, argued over the use of using O2 through a congested nose, bickered with staff over wearing a mask correctly vs what is comfortable for the patient, had an impromptu "mask test" to display that the mask was not effective as worn, it was, O2 dropped to the low 80s, heart rate climbed, and the whole cycle of potential a use ate its own tail. I rate this hospital a ZERO! (0) NO STARS! This hospital is a complete mess. On Wednesday 11/26/25 @9am-1:30pm! Was there with my sick spouse for over 5 hours with no Care, No nurse to check in on us. I kindly asked the nursing staff what we was waiting for two ladies replied with bad attitude and we only wanted answers in a respectful manner.
