This device does a great job for me when it works. When it Works! I spend so much time cleaning the band, re-wetting my wrist trying to get it to work. Cala should not be allowed to bill anyone when this device is returned because it didn't work. Some days I feel like we've been scammed!

I'm giving Cala Health one star because I can't give it zero. My Dr ordered their device for treatment of my essential tremor. I received the device and when I tried to charge it the chargers, brand new I assumed, it wouldn't even light up. I contacted Caka and 5 days later received a new charger. After charging overnight as per instructions, the device said it needed a new band. Two components of the device, brand new out out the box, were defective or previously used. I received my Cala kiQ device the beginning of May, 2026. In short order I noticed a definite calming of my Essential Tremor, not only in my right hand (dominant) but also my left hand. The benefit lasts long enough that 2 therapy sessions per day is sufficient to keep my tremor at a tolerable level. The support team at Cala has been outstanding. I tried the Cala k1Q for my essential tremor and it made my tremor worse. It's basically an e-stim watch you wear on your wrist and connected to an app. I ended up returning it after two weeks and then I got a bill for $600. Ask your neurologist for something else before spending the money, especially if you have commercial insurance. Definitely not worth it.
