We came 840 miles for a prospective school visit with my daughter. "Visitor" parking was to be $12. We couldn't find that spot and got a ticket for $44. Nice welcome.
I was glad that my parking was free, but the app said i owed .35. i paid it because i didn't want to rock the boat if an officer thought i should pay it.
