Even though I knew Ashton's bakery is allergen free, I completely forgot that when I bought cupcakes and for two seconds I was shocked when I bit into the cupcake because I thought "wait why is this cupcake luxuriously moist and amazing???" It was 4th of July weekend and my family was passing through the area, my grandson (5) has severe anaphylaxis to dairy and eggs. When we saw that Cakes by Ashton catered to allergens I called to see if they were open. Ashton made my wedding cake and cupcakes and did a fantastic job. She was great to work with as well as her communication was on point. While it took other bakers quite a long time to get back to me regarding availability for my wedding, Ashton called me the same day I called and left a message. Her cake and cupcakes were fantastic. Best gluten free cupcakes ever! Several people in my family, including myself, have celiac disease, so we've tried so many gf treats over the years and these are our new favorite! We got the cookies and cream cupcake and the cinnamon roll cupcake flavors and both were amazing! Cannot wait to try other flavors! This will definitely be our go-to place from now on!
