Cake Creations was recommended by recent newlyweds and other wedding vendors. I have to say I got a fairly quick response on setting up a tasting, the tasting went well and we placed a deposit down for our upcoming wedding. Less than a month later I received an email from Bob at Cake Creations stating he was unable to fulfill my order for my wedding and would refund me my deposit. My experience with Creative Cakes in Rockford, Ill. has been the best they get 5 stars from me and my family. The cakes are beautiful and delicious too. Merry Xmas. Now I need to order another cake..
I placed a deposit down and never got it back once they went out of business. I do hope that the owner Bob does not start another business because he does not have very good business practices. I was told "I would get a refund when he was able" that was over 2 months ago and I sent multiple emails. Very disappointing when you pay for half the cake upfront.
