I had the shrimp and seafood egg rolls. I was surprised that I only got two eggs rolls but it had real crabmeat. They were good but the star of the night were the shrimp! The shrimp was the best shrimp I have ever had!!! They were spicy, large and the breading was perfect! My new favorite place for shrimp!!!! Go try the shrimp!!!
1. Gumbo needs okra and no non seafood, otherworldly real crab mea 2. The fried shrimp were great. 3. Should be at least 3 or 4 egg rolls for the price, especially since there was not much inside of them. People will pay for first class ingredients.
I read the reviews. I should have listened... I ordered the seafood egg rolls . I left the restaurant and two blocks later.. I decided to try one. I reached my hand in the bag to grab one... the egg rolls were freezing cold !!! I immediately returned to the scene of the crime.. I returned the egg rolls. They dropped them in deep fryer. Take out restaurant. They have a small area to sit. I ordered my food online to go. I ordered the 1/2 lb of shrimp and gumbo. I give the shrimp 4/5. The shrimp had a nice spice to it and they were jumbo shrimp. It's as if they put a bit of hot sauce in the batter or used a spicy. I appreciated it but some may say it's too spicy. I had the mixed gumbo with chicken and seafood. Overall the gumbo had a nice flavor but it really disappointed me to see imitation crab meat in it. Stumbled on this excellent little walk in counter service restaurant & look forward to returning. The seafood gumbo is the perfect amount of spice & the Cajun fried shrimp were perfectly seasoned & BIG! Stop in or order via DoorDash!
