The food is awesome. Came out quickly and could not ask for better.
I can’t imagine anyone familiar with actual Cajun food not sending this stuff back to the kitchen. We started with the gumbo, which was just tomato stock and red pepper with frozen shrimp and no discernible trace of the crab promised on the menu. We ordered grilled mahi that was overcooked to the point of being tough, and the crawfish etouffee that was overwhelmed by more red pepper than you’d ever encounter in Louisiana. The bright side? The mashed potatoes were good.
Stumbled upon this place, great jazz music, amazing New Orleans bbq shrimp which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was great and bartender was particularly helpful in guiding us through the menu and cocktails.
