Nestled just off the beaten path near a slightly industrial area of Waco, I discovered an unexpected gem, Cajun Craft. I was staying near Waco for a few days, but the area I was in had very limited choices for food. So, I looked up some nearby restaurants in Waco, and found Cajun Craft. It was worth the drive in from where I was staying. This place is truly a hidden jewel!!! The food, service was awesome. A great atmosphere and great customer care.
The boudin is great. The mac n cheese is a a bit thick and dry. The soft shell crabs were surprisingly bigger than I thought. Its a bit pricey. The atmosphere is more modern waco motif than cajun. But the food makes up for it. I will definitely be back regularly. I wish they had authentic louisiana drinks
Cajun Craft is truly a gem and has definitely become a favorite spot in Waco for my family. The staff was very nice, personable, and accommodating! From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with warm energy and treated as though we were family. The food was flavorful, fresh, and delicious! You know the food is good when my house full of picky eaters have high remarks. We will be visiting again whenever we’re in that area!
