Ok. So to begin I ordered the shrimp étouffée with fried fish & green beans on today(Friday). The only thing good on the plate was the green beans. The fish taste like it was marinated in hot sauce, the etouffee smells spoiled, let’s not mention it is a DARK gravy that’s watery *see pic below* I ordered about 12 plates of the same thing for my coworkers and everyone had a negative comment to say about it. It's a small Cafe with very good food and sandwiches. There are lunch specials everyday. The staff is very friendly.
If you want down home Southern Cooking, Cajun Country Cafe is your spot. My experience was wonderful. I actually made a comment to my friend that eating there felt like Thanksgiving. Food thats good for the Soul:)
