My wife was craving mud bugs so here we are. We stop at loves every time we are in town. I didn’t know this place existed. We are a new convert. If you’re in the area stop by. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. 5 stars. Theses folks went over and above on service. The price was perfect, we got more than we expected.
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars for their service. The young lady who took care of us, Anna Grace, was delightful. She took the time and effort to show my sister and myself how to crack open the crawfish, helped us decide the menu items. She checked on us to make sure all was well. She could not have been nicer. The food was outstanding. I would definitely eat here again if traveling in that area in the future.
This place has SIGNIFICANTLY gone downhill. The new owners are putting out horrible food! The crawfish is gross, small and smell like they were soaked in dirty dish water. The gumbo is not fresh. The staff are running around like crazy, but often forget to stop by and refill drinks. The bartender makes terrible drinks, that we have returned multiple times. We will not be back, which is a shame...it used to be one of our favorite spots.
